Nuts about Lavender Fields is finally finished!

16 weeks.
11 designers.
35 challenging squares
A beautiful border
And finally a surprise cushion
I thoroughly enjoyed my first Crochet-a-Long!

BoJangles was in charge of quality control and he says she passes muster!

Here’s a better look at the squares from the last four weeks.

Week 9 was 'Fall Blossom', designed by Aurora Suominen

Week 10 - Moroccan Window, designed by Heather Gibbs.

and 'Sweet and Fair', designed by Julie Yeager.

Week 11 - 'In like a lamb, out like a Lion' designed  by Margaret McInnes.

And the final 3 squares for week 12 were 'Lisa', designed  by Polly Plum.

Weeks 13 and 14 were given over to the joining of all the squares,  and then week 15 was time for the border, designed by Tatsiana Kupryianchyk

I changed mine slightly by adding an extra row of picot.
And finally there was a surprise on the very last week, a cushion,  to enable us to use up all the left over yarn.

Once again I changed mine, using an extra square of Tropical Delight that I made in week 8 as the centre of the cushion and then adding a flower to the centre back.

Happy Crafting,

Whatever your passion may be!

Sue

    1. Hi, the pattern for the cushion was included in the last week of the CAL. I altered mine slightly by making an extra Tropical Delight square and using that for the centre and then used the stitch for the cushion pattern to complete it. I think I found the pattern for the flower on the back on line somewhere but you could use any flower pattern you choose. Hope that helps. Thanks for stopping by.
