Harvest Tiny Town – Heart in Hand

I’ve often wondered if other stitchers' prefer to work on projects that are ‘in season’ or don’t have a problem stitching Christmas in spring time.

I tend to fall into the first category, preferring to stitch on and have finishes that I can display straight away, instead of having to pack them away for several months before being able to enjoy them.

That said, at this time of year, most are probably thinking about autumn, harvest time and of course Halloween, including me, although I’m not big on the latter.

Back at the end of August I started stitching ‘Harvest Tiny Town’ from Heart in Hand and I’ve just finished it.

I have some of the other Tiny Towns waiting to be stitched, and have already finished the Christmas one,

which I finished as a flat fold, but having finished this latest one, I was debating on a method of finishing them all in the same manor.  That was when I came across the finishing boards from Paisleys and Polka Dots and decided I could finish them

with magnets on the back, making them interchangeable.

  1. Love these tiny town finishes, Sue! And what a great way to be able to finish them all easily. I'll have to look into some of those cute finishing pieces. Hope your October is going well!
