A Kiss For Snowman

Finally a finish and FFO on the same day…..don’t think I’ve even done that before, Lol!

I’ve come to the conclusion that Dimensions Kits are not the easiest of things to stitch on but I do love finished result and can see others being stitched on at some point in the future.

'A Kiss For Snowman' is a petite and is only 6’’ x 6’’ but it is full coverage (ok, there are a few small spots that aren’t) and has some back stitching lots of French knots, so there was some pretty intense stitching going on at the end.

This it were it was last week

And I’ve worked on nothing else which is why I managed to get it finished.

I found what I thought was the perfect frame on Amazon, which I gave a little rub with some Pebeo Gilding Wax,  but when it came to putting my stitching in it, I realised I had forgotten to allow for the rebate, so I tiny bit of the design is missing, but I’m fine with that.

Now it’s on to my Cross Stitch Camp project and this one chose itself really.

I’m going to do ‘ I Would Rather Bee Stitching’ from Primrose Cottage Stitches and given the name of my blog, it just had to be done, right!

Happy Stitching!

Sue

  1. That snowman and little girl are precious---definitely worth all the stitches. The frame is perfect for it!!! Great finish, Sue!
