All summer, Sheri, The Colorado Cross Stitcher has once again hosted a virtual Cross Stitch Camp, with challenges each month to test our skills.
This month we had to do something new to us and with my choice I covered that twice over.
First off I went with a designer that I’ve never stitched before, and I
loved working on it so much that I already have another of her charts kitted
and ready to go!
My choice was ‘I Would Rather Bee Stitching’ from Primrose Cottage Stitches, which I changed a little to reflect my blog name.
When it came to finishing, I decided to have a go at a block finish.
I liked the idea because it didn’t involve getting my sewing machine out!
All I have to do now is find some ribbon and or flowers to decorate the top and it’s done.
I’d just like to give Sheri, The Colorado Cross Stitcher a big shout out here. She’s done an amazing job over the last 3 years, coming up with challenges for as, throughout the summer and the winter camp in February.
Last year there was
even a Sampler Camp in November, so lots to keep us busy.
Happy Stitching!
Sue

Opps, I just noticed that I forgot to stitch the heads on the pin, so Ill be pinning some seed beads on there later.
Your finished piecce is great, Sue! I like how you made it fit your IG handle. But, seeing it made me realize I forgot to add the long stitches on the spool!!! Que sera, sera!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteLol Stasi, I'm glad it's not only me that realise that they had left something off unintentionally. Thanks for stopping by & Happy Stitching! xx
