Decisions, Decisions!

Hi all, I hope everyone has had a good week.

It definitely makes me feel happier when the sun is shining as it has been here in the last few days.  It’s been warmer too, so coffee in the garden it was…..a sure sign that spring is on the way!

My good news this week is that yesterday I had my first Covid 19 vaccine, so things are definitely looking up, especially as I’ve had no side effects at all, as yet and I’m keeping everything crossed it stays that way.

I put some stitches into three of my WIP’s this week and had one small finish.

On ‘Sleigh Bell’s Ring from Cross Stitcher magazine, I now have five of Santa’s reindeers done’, with four to go.

When I started this I did think it might be a bit early to start on Christmas stuff but I have to say, because there’s no deadline to work to, I’m really enjoying stitching it.   Just a well really because I have another one to stitch after this one is finished.

I also pulled out ‘Gratitude’,  part #12 of The Songbird’s Garden Series from Cottage Garden Samplings.

This is the first time I’ve actually stitched on this for more than a year.  It was put aside because of my eye problem when I was finding it a bit of strain, but it’s all fine now and I’m loving it again.

The final project I worked on this week was Little Sheep Virtue -#1 Hope from Little House Needleworks and this was my little finish..........sort of.

I originally planned to fully finish these into twelve small pillows but I have since seen other stitchers doing them all as one piece, adding Country Cottage Needleworks “Sheep in the Meadow” in the centre with the twelve virtues around the outside.

I now have that chart and the threads but now I don’t know what to do…..decisions, decisions!

Well, that’s it for this little update.

I can’t believe that tomorrow is the 1st March and the first day of spring but on the up side, it means the days will be getting longer and warmer and I will be able to get back to stitching in the garden, enjoying the sunshine.

So until next time, have a Happy time Crafting!

(Whatever you passion may be)

Sue
