It’s strange how a
simple thing can lead you down a rabbit hole and before you know it, you’re
full-on making clothes for youeself.
OK, well may be not full-on, but the simple task of crocheting a trim for my ‘Strawberry Fare’ pillow,
reminded me that I had the yarn tucked away to make myself a summer top.
The pattern is Rowen, Olivia, designed by Marie Wallin and the
yarn is Rowan,
Summerlite 4ply which is 100% cotton, in the shade seashell.
This is how far I got last night……I had forgotten how crochet grows so quickly!
Happy Crocheting!

That will be beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Stasi, I hope so!! It's a long time since I crocheted something that big, Lol xx
DeleteThe crochet trim on your strawberry piece is lovely. You are off to a wonderful start on your summer top. Have a good weekend, Sue!
ReplyDeleteThanks Robin, It's a while since I've crocheted anything bigger than trim, so it will be interesting to see how my hands hold out with the crochet hook. I used to work with just the metal hook but have had to resortto the ones with the silicone handles.
