I’ve been making plans for my summer stitching and it’s all going t0 be about Bees and Lavender, with a little bit of Christmas thrown in.
My custom dyed piece of 32ct linen arrived from Nicholas Flamel Design, on Etsy and I’m so happy with it. I asked for a buttery yellow and Tamas knocked it out of the park as always with ‘Lemon Squash’ and I got a piece of ‘Parchment’ at the same time.
My main and ongoing project is going to be The Betsy Morgan ‘Bee Contained’ Etui that may take some time to stitch, but I also have ‘I Would Rather Bee Stitching’, which just has to be stitched, given my blog and Instagram names, and ‘A Bee C’ both from Primrose Cottage Stitches, as well as some magazine charts I have been saving.
I also treated myself to a beautiful new project bag to keep it all safe, from Sew Be Bags, on Instagram........that fabric is so pretty!
Oh, and my July Cross Stitch Camp project also is bee themed too!
Christmas in July will be marked with my 12 in 23 Ornament which is going to be one of the Mill Hill Snowman that I’ve previously stitched as a gifts for people.
I had lots of left over thread and beads, so I’ve decided to stitch them again on linen for myself and make little pillows, but I’m not sure which one I will do yet.I
think that little lot should keep me occupied through the summer, don’t you?
Happy Stitching!
Sue
