One Over One

I can’t say that stitching one over one is by any means my favourite way to stitch, but with the help of good lighting and since suffering a detached retina, a good magnifier; it’s so worth the effort.

I’ve been working on my Chatelaine, Butterfly Lace Mandala for the first time this year and over the weekend I made a start on butterfly number six. It was one of the larger ones.

There are so many colour changes in these little wings and I didn’t quite manage to finish it, but it will be back out for the ‘Chatelaine Weekender’ on Friday.
