I'm a Winner!

I’ve never been lucky when entering raffles, competitions and the like, but over the last couple of months I’ve had two wonderful surprises.

I love watching FlossTubes and 'The Country Stitchers' is one that  I follow on a regular basis, making comments and generally joining in with the fun.

Back in November, Liz and Deb were celebrating reaching the heady heights of 10,000 subscribers by giving away a couple of lovely prizes and I really didn't expect to be one of the winners.

My name was chosen to receive the fabulous 'Peyote' scissor fob that Liz had made and believe me; it’s even more beautiful in person, it's so sparkly...………I can’t quite believe it’s all mine!

I can really recommend  the 'Country Stitchers' floss tube if you haven’t seen it already, but beware because they stitch such fabulous things and never fail to enable!

Someone else I follow is Felicia, who is @mousepotatodesigns on FaceBook, Instergram and FlossTube.

Felicia is such an organized stitcher, in that at the start of the year she has planned all her stitching projects and how much of each project she is going to stitch each month.  Me, I have no idea what I'm stitching on from day to day!

We connected because she was stitching a couple of the same projects as I was,  'Little  Sheep Virtues' from Little House Needleworks and also the 'Mini Bouquet. Sal from Jeanette Douglass.

To celebrate hitting all her goals for the year, Felicia started a new stitch,  ‘Silent Night’, from Stitches Through The Years  and offered a prize to two lucky people who comment on her posts.

It was about two weeks after winning the fob, that I had a message to say I had won one of Felicia's prizes and could pick a download of my choosing from 'Stitches Through The Years'.

There were so many lovely charts to pick from but in the end I settled on ‘A Beautiful Garden’.

Thank you so much ladies, I love watching your floss tubes, reading your Facebook and Instagram posts and I’m looking forward to a new year of being enabled!

Happy Stitching!

Sue
