I have three days of Advent goodies to share with you this morning and I’ve actually managed to catch up with the stitching on the countdown sal.
Starting as usual with ‘The Patchwork Rabbit’, day 7 made me extremely happy, because when I opened the envelope, it contained something that I’ve wanted to try for some time.
Day 7
Yah!!! Cottage Garden Threads – Le Bouton - beautiful
variegated shades of burgundy and pinks…….I love it!!!!
Day 8
The
Gentle Art Sampler Threads – Gold Leaf
Day 9
The Patchwork Rabbit Corner Gauge
Day 7
Thread - Leo & Roxy Thread Co. – Poinsettia. Very Christmassy!
Leo
& Roxy Thread Co. – Third
Place. A beautiful Golden Brown colour.
Day 9
Thread - Leo & Roxy Thread Co. – Crème Fraiche
I’m also trying to do a better job on the back of my stitching by using a pin stitch instead of running my threads under the stitches and not carrying the threads over more than two stitches.
What
I haven’t mentioned yet is that on the bottom of the chart section each day, there’s
a little extra gem.
Up to now we have been treated to links to You Tube and Instagram, where we have listened to two Christmas songs, sung by Jacob (MFE), and also listened to him telling us all his favourite and most inspiring museums. We’ve heard about favourite holiday traditions, holiday songs and albums and I’m sure there’s lots more interesting things to come.

The Patchwork Rabbit advent gifts are all great, and I love the stickers on each package. I think I'd want to steam them off somehow and re-use! :) The sampler is coming along nicely and what a great idea with the extra surprises!!!
