Santa 2004 – Prairie Schooler

I’ve had my eye on the Prairie Schooler yearly Santa’s for some time, but I’ve never stitched any of them……..until now, that is! 

My plan is to have a smallish Christmas Tree in my craft room with just the Santa’s on it and this is my first.

I have several of the charts ready to go but chose to start with 2004, because of its connection to stitching.

This where I left it the last time you saw it.

And here it is finished.

I added a little bit of backstitch around his beard, just to make it stand out a little more.

It’s stitched on a piece of 16ct mystery Aida, with a mixture of called for and substituted threads.
