Well, I’m almost at 5 weeks post hip replacement ………where did those weeks go!
My physiotherapist had her second home visit today and she seemed pleased with my progress. Indoors, I’m getting around mostly with just one crutch (sometimes none) and I have very little pain which is great, although sleeping has been a bit of problematic. Other than that, I’m doing ok, I think.
She took me out for a walk to the end of the road today, which is the furthest I’m been so far and I’m looking forward to being able to drive again after seeing my consultant again of the 7th June.
Stitching wise, I finished ‘Chubby Bunny’ from Jeanette Douglas.
I won’t be FFO’ing it for a while because I need to find a small round frame for it, so that will be one of the first things I look for when I’m able to get out and about again.
Happy Stitching!
Sue
