End of Year Round-Up - 2022

Once again the year has flown by in a flash of Threads, Fabric and Charts, as well as some skeins of wool, Lol!

To track all of the projects that I have worked on, I keep an Excel spreadsheet and it’s interesting to see just what I’ve actually achieved throughout the year.

I don’t go into the finer detail of numbers of stitches I work or the exact amount of time I spend on things, but I do make a note of the number of days I work on things.

At the end of last year I carried over 3 Wips. (works in progress)

The January panel of the Joyful World Sal, which is now finished.

Butterfly Lace Mandala

Oh Holy Night Nativity,

Strangely,  the last two are being carried over again this year.

So, what does the spreadsheet show me……..

In 2022, I worked on 2 sewing projects, 1 Crochet Project, and 3 Knitting Projects, which included my very first pair of socks!

Cross stitch wise, I worked on 64 items, including three multi-stitch projects, that were worked on each month throughout the year.

They were The Snowflower Diaries, ‘Joyful World’ stitch-a-long,

The ‘Mini Bouquet’ stitch-a-long by Jeanette Douglass

And

‘The Little Sheep Virtues’/’Sheep in the Meadow Singing'
Three projects from this year were professionally framed by ‘Frames of London, as were 3 older projects.

I fully finished 43 items myself, leaving just 10 pieces to complete.

I also had a little go at designing and came up with my first free chart (available on the tab above) to commutate the Queens passing.

Not a bad years work, even if I do say so myself!

I finish 2022 carrying over just the two cross stitch wips already mentioned, and one kip (knitting in progress), which is my second pair of socks.

Big thanks to everyone who has visited me this year.

It would be lovely to hear from more of you in the comments when you stop by, but for now I wish you all a very

Happy and an Extremely Crafty New Year!
