Doing a Happy Dance!

 Nothing in the world, not even my dodgy worn hip was going to stop me from doing my ‘Happy Dance’ over the weekend.

Well, what do you expect when this lovely lot dropped through my letter box.

These are the silks, specialist threads, Swarovski Crystals and Delica beads from the ‘European Cross Stitch Company in the US, for my Butterfly Lace Mandala Chatelaine.

 I’ve waited since  April 2nd for these to arrive and can’t wait to get a start on it, but as I already have stitching plans for July and August, I’m going to try and be patient and wait until September 9th and make it a special Birthday start, especially as it will be my 65th.   

So for now, they are put aside,  along with all the DMC threads, fabric , new scissors, needle keeper and my beautiful little tin of Bees Wax Thread conditioner, ready to go in September.

    Thanks Kay. It's not easy waiting but then again, I've waited since the start of April, so another few weeks is not going to hurt.......plus I have lots of other stitching on the go!
