I finally finished all the cross stitching and making up of all the little pillows for the Advent Calendar but sadly not in time to do the quilt backing and get it to its new owners before the start of the month.
Never mind, no one’s going to be disappointed because I’ve not decided where it’s going to go yet anyway, so I can now take my time with the machining part of it and have it all completely finished before next Advent.
Here’s all the little pillows, complete with beading.

I've been looking for Christmas cross stitch patterns for an advent calendar and fell in love with your pictures! Is there any way you can point me in the direction of the patterns you used? Thank you so much for your help!

DeleteThe charts for this were in a very old copy of Cross Stitcher . Unfortunately I can’t remember the issue number but I’m sure that I’ve seen it on the web somewhere recently. If I can track it down I will let you know.

ReplyDeleteNo, not my own charts I'm afraid. They were form a very old copy of Cross Stitcher.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to mention that this pattern was published in a book and now easy to find. I picked up a copy at our local library. The title is Cross Stitcher's Countdown to Christmas and it feathers many other designs besides this Advent pattern. Hope this helps other out.
